January 2026 — Present
Software Integration Engineering Intern @ Tesla Motors
Austin, TX
Support development, testing, and rollout of HV Vehicle Software for all Tesla Vehicle platforms. Worked on DC/DC and DC/AC converter and charging interface
Highlights
- Refactored the charging interface state machine to enable V2G on Cybertruck and resolved system-level bugs (feature shipped April 2026); added docs and authored specifications, validation plans, and SIL coverage to prevent regressions.
- Built a dashboard to detect regression patterns in vehicle charging/V2X across firmware releases on all vehicle platforms, surfacing actionable metrics for the charging interface team. Organized CI infrastructure for further development.
- Contributed to EOL component retrofit for the M3/MY by scoping minimal firmware changes and validating new LLC resonant converter control behavior; implemented robust HIL test coverage to prevent future regressions.
- Developed CAN diagnostics for SAE J3271 (Megawatt Charging) comms over 10BASE-T1S, instrumenting app/driver/PHY layers to analyze system-level failures on the semi-truck platform.
